How to Combine Multiple PDF Files Using Online Tools

August 23, 2016 by brandbits

There are a lot free websites nowadays that can merge multiple PDF files – without any download or registration at all. We compiled a list of 3 trusted websites to help you do so. Follow these simple steps to combine multiple PDFs into one.

PDFJoiner

This is a simple website that does the job quickly and efficiently. It allows merging up to 20 PDF files. It also offers many additional PDF-related features.

  • You could add your multiple PDFs either by selecting UPLOAD FILES button and adding files from your computer, or by directly dragging them to the drop area.
  • Wait until uploading and conversion is complete.
  • You can now change the order of merging, by simply dragging and dropping file blocks.
  • When you’re happy with the order, click JOIN FILES button. Your combined PDF document will start downloading instantly!

Smallpdf

Another well organized website that comes to your aid when you need to combine multiple PDFs. Unlike its competitors, Smallpdf offers adding files directly from Dropbox and Google Drive.

  • Firstly choose your desired PDF document by clicking Choose file button or just drag-and-drop your file in the upload box. When the upload is finished, you’ll see the option to Add more PDFs. Please note that free version of Smallpdf doesn’t support adding multiple files at once, but one by one.
  • Once you’ve added all of your files, you can change their order. Just above the editor’s box you can switch between Page mode and File mode. When in Page mode, you will see all pages of all uploaded PDFs and you can change their order or even remove certain pages.
  • When you’re happy with the file, go ahead and click Merge PDF.
  • After PDFs are merged, you will have options to download your files, or save them to Dropbox or Google Drive.

Online2pdf

This is great online tool, unbeatable when it comes to formatting. However,  free version comes with certain size limitations. The maximum file size is 50MB and all files together must not exceed 100MB. You can select up to 20 files.

  • First step is to either select files from your computer or drag-and-drop them in the upload box.
  • When the upload is finished, you get some additional formatting options. On the right of each file you will see buttons to rotate, split, unlock or rearrange pages.
  • Beneath the file box you’ll find even more editing options. Use these options to change the size of images, table of contents, header/footer and more.
  • When you’re ready click Convert. Voila, download of your combined PDF should start automatically.

We hope these websites prove useful to you in combining multiple PDFs.
